REPATRIATION PROGRAMS
Community Connections Repatriation program prepares returning corporate personnel and their families to address the unexpected issues which surface when they return to their home country. It includes a coordinated sequence of assistance, beginning with needs assessment and a packet of relevant information to help them form realistic expectations prior to the return. Following the return, the family receives a consultation on their practical needs, with updated information on schools and assistance in locating housing, and a half-day seminar dealing with the many issues surrounding "reentry shock." The Repatriation seminar puts the reentry experience into perspective , and assists the returnees in developing strategies to reduce stress and plan for a positive transition period.

EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE
Our initial consultation determines the educational needs of each individual. We discuss all factors regarding education including an explanation of the American school system, the differences in private, public and religious schools, preschools and schools of higher education. We provide extensive information regarding registration and medical requirements, and necessary documentation for entrance into the school system.

We also offer assistance for special education needs, available openings at appropriate schools and schedule appointments for campus visits and registration.

RENTAL ASSISTANCE
Orientation and Search of Rental Apartments
Our orientations include prior assessment of the client's needs and research to locate appropriate apartments. We escort the client to available rentals according to a prepared personalized itinerary. Our relocation specialists offer an area orientation and explain specific issues such as utility setup. A second day provides an opportunity to view a wider selection of housing.

We customize this complete relocation package to meet the family's needs. We give attention not only to housing, banking, social security and medical matters, but also to personal issues. We follow an office briefing of Bay Area living with an escorted view of appropriate housing. Our personalized service allows us to work closely with all family members from initial contact to well after the family feels established. We save your company the expense of interim housing by coordinating the delivery of rental furniture, household goods, utilities setup, and the delivery of food for the first night.
